We all are familiar with online video and voice calling apps such as IMO, Whatsapp, Telegram, etc. These kinds of apps offer a bunch of amazing services to their customers. Besides voice and video calling, the apps have so many other features like messaging, exchanging photos and videos.

The aforementioned apps have millions of users in Bangladesh that generating millions of dollars in profit to that companies. What if we have our native app! Yeah, the Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited short for BTCL has just released, Alaap, an app by which users will not only get the all abovementioned advantages but also enjoy a very competitive call rate for calling app to mobile directly.

The Alaap app is available both on play store and app store from where you can download the app. To open an Alaap account, you will need your NID card. The process is very simple. You just need to hold and capture your NID image and save it. As soon as you open an Alaap account, you will be given a new phone number that will be visible to people you call and 15 bonus minutes which are very interesting.

Alaap currently offers a free call service for app to app calls and charge only 30 paisa (excluding VAT) for the app to mobile call. You can earn more bonus minutes by referring the app to your friends and family by a unique referral link provided by the Alaap app itself.

The most attractive feature of the app for me is that the app charge only 30 paise for making a call with other numbers whereas our existing mobile operators charge way more. But, to enjoy all of the aforementioned services from Alaap, you must have an internet connection.

Since it's one of our government digital initiatives, we owe to spread the news across Bangladesh. First of all you, and then inspire your friends and family to use the app. You can get the app from right here.
